Home > About > Departments > Government Documents About Government Documents Since 1973, Elihu Burritt Library has served as a selective depository for publications from the United States Government. These include materials from virtually every branch and agency of the federal government, such as: laws and legislation, congressional hearings, Supreme Court decisions, Geological Survey Maps, and a wide range of statistical sources including the U.S. Census. The Library's current collection contains approximately 100,000 paper items, 50,000 microfiche, 22,000 maps and 200 CD-ROMs.The government documents department is located on the 3rd floor of the library.
