Workshop #1: Medical and Behavioral Sciences Databases available
through the Library’s Web Page
This session focuses on navigating the familiar MEDLINE and
PsycInfo databases through the new OVID
interface. MEDLINE and PsycInfo now cover longer periods of time, and
the user can choose a “Basic” search
approach or an “Advanced” search. Participants will be able to get
hands-on practice.

Workshop #2: The Range of Databases available through Online Search
Serives
This session concentrates on the hundreds of databases available upon
request from the Online Search Services
Department. Each year the Online Services Librarian conducts searches
for faculty and students; this workshop
is designed to acquaint participants with the depth and breadth of
available databases.

Library
Discover more about the Library’s access to “EBSCO” databases in general
academics and business information.
This workshop covers “KEYWORD” and “NATURAL LANGUAGE” searching and
limiting retrieval to entire
articles. This will include an opportunity for “hands-on”.
