Stephen Cauffman, formerly of the CCSU Library Circulation Department, has joined the Library Systems staff as Systems Assistant. Shelley Osterreich, Assistant Librarian in the CCSU Library's Technical Processing Department, will begin sabbatical leave in January 1997. Shelley will be preparing to publish a bibliography on Native American shamanism.

Nicholas Tomaiuolo, Assistant Librarian and Joan Packer, Head Reference Librarian, recently returned from London, England where they presented a paper entitled "Web Search Engines: Key to Locating Information for All Users or Only the Cognoscenti?" at Online UK `96, an international conference sponsored by the Guardian.
