October 27, Debut screening of In a Preternatural Way: The Witchcraft Trial of Mary Barnes, a Stanley-Whitman House produced film about a local woman executed for witchcraft in 1663, preceded by a brief introduction about the 17th-century Connecticut witchcraft trials and followed by a question-and-answer session with the film’s actors, Vance 105, 7:00 – 8:30 pm

November 11 , Film: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Semesters (Student Center) 7:00 pm, presented by Student Activities

November 15 , Film: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Torp, 7:00 pm, presented by Student Activities

Astronomy Programs presented by Dr. Kristine Larsen, CCSU Department of Physics and Earth Sciences

Harry Potter’s World: Renaissance Science, Magic, and Medicine, a traveling exhibition for libraries, was organized by the National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland.
