Science Citation Index Expanded(Off-campus access restricted to CCSU users)
The Science Citation Index Expanded, part of ISI's Web of Science, provides access to current and retrospective bibliographic information, author abstracts, and cited references found in 5,800 of the world's leading scholarly science and technical journals covering more than 100 disciplines.
Web of Science(Off-campus access restricted to CCSU users)
The Web of Science database provides access to the Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index and Arts & Humanities Citation Index. Coverage is 1991-present.
Smithsonian Physical Tables(Off-campus access restricted to CCSU users)
Originally published by Smithsonian Institution Press, this classic reference source comprises 901 tables of general interest to scientists and engineers, and of particular interest to those involved with physics in its larger sense. All entries in the index are hyperlinked to their page numbers.
International Critical Tables of Numerical Data, Physics, Chemistry and Technology(Off-campus access restricted to CCSU users)
Online version of the classic and well-known reference originally published from 1926 - 1930 for the National Research Council. It contains an enormous amount of critical data on inorganic and organic compounds, and pure substances. Featuring physical, thermodynamic, mechanical, and other key properties, it is a major reference source used by those involved in chemistry, physics, and engineering.
NASA Astrophysics Data System
The Astrophysics Data System (ADS) is a NASA-funded project which maintains three bibliographic databases containing more than 4.5 million records: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Physics, and ArXiv e-prints.
ArXiv (physics, mathematics, computer science, biology)
ArXiv is an e-print service in the fields of physics, mathematics, non-linear science, computer science, and quantitative biology that is owned, operated and funded by Cornell University. ArXiv is also partially funded by the National Science Foundation.
