Bee-ware!

For the safety of all library visitors, we ask that you avoid STACKS 7 & 8 (bound periodicals) while we deal with the bees who have taken up residence in the library. We hope to have the problem resolved within the next week. If you need bound periodicals, please consult with our Reference staff at the 3rd and 4th floor Information Desks.

The New Face of Interlibrary Loan!

Today, September 2, 2008, the process of requesting materials through the  Interlibrary Loan office has changed.

How will this affect you?  The first time you request a book not in the CSU system or an article from any other library, you will be prompted to create an account in ILLiad, our new management software.

This account will allow you to:
•       Keep track of all of your data, so you will not have to rekey this information every time you place a request.
•       Quickly change your email if needed
•       View your electronic documents
•       Track the status of your requests
•       Request renewals.

When placing any subsequent requests the only thing you will need to do is log into your account.
We hope you enjoy this new innovation to help you manage your research requests.
