Elihu Burritt Library Digital Projects, Collections & Partnerships

As part of the Elihu Burritt Library's mission to support research and learning at CCSU, the library preserves and makes accessible digital projects, collections, and archival materials. For information and finding aids for the physical and online archival materials, visit our Special Collections and Archives page. The library partners with other CCSU departments to produce digital projects, digitize materials, curate oral histories, and support online exhibits created as part of its scholarship & community engagement efforts. Past work has included partnerships with the History Department [H], the Center for Public Policy and Social Research [CPPSR], the Modern Languages department [ML], and the GLBTQ Center [GLBTQ].

Starting on June 30, 2020, CCSU's ContentDM platform which housed several of those projects will go offline. Some collections are now available as searchable collections in CCSU's Alma/Primo library system (CentralSearch). The other ContentDM collections are in the process of being migrated to the Connecticut Digital Archive (CTDA). All materials should be live at our new Connecticut Digital Archives instance by Spring 2021. For questions about the migration, please contact Brian Matzke, Digital Humanities Librarian. See our blog announcement for details.
