The Elihu Burritt Library at CCSU invites you to a talk by
William J. Mann
renowned author, historian and CCSU alumnus

Tuesday, March 4th at 4:30 p.m. Burritt Library 2nd floor

William J. Mann is best known for his studies of Hollywood and the American film industry, he is an author of several acclaimed works of fiction and nonfiction, for which he received numerous awards. Mr. Mann was co-editor of Metroline magazine, a gay-lesbian newsmagazine based in Hartford, Connecticut. In 1987 he was one of the founders of Alternatives a gay and lesbian cultural organization in Hartford, which a year later organized first Connecticut Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
Mr. Mann will sign his latest book: Hello Gorgeous: Becoming Barbra Streisand, published in 2012.
