Read magazines at home!

The Burritt Library has just acquired a trial subscription to Flipster, a service that allows you to view your favorite popular magazines from your computer, tablet or phone.

Just a few of the titles that are available are Time, National Geographic, Wired, and Rolling Stone. In addition there are some great academic titles to choose from.

There are a few ways to access these titles. One is to use the link above and search for your titles in the same way you would search our regular library databases. The second way is to access their app:

  • Search the iTunes App Store or the Google Play Store for “Flipster – Digital Magazines”.
  • Locate participating libraries
  • Browse for and download popular magazines to read offline
  • Access digital table of contents for each magazine
  • Read articles in text view
  • Tap highlighted areas to jump to articles and related website
