An American Brodie helmet worn in WWI by Paul M. Edman of Bristol, Connecticut. On the front of the helmet is painted a red number one in a yellow shield. "The Big Red One" was the insignia for the 1st Division in which Edman served.
A World War Victory Medal and ribbons awarded to Percy Winslow Eustis for his service during the war. The Victory Medal has the Meuse-Argonne and Defensive Sector clasps.
