New, Easier book requesting from CSCU libraries

Coming soon, it will be easier to order books and other materials from the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities.  In the hopes of improving the ordering process, you will no longer need to worry about where the item is coming from.  There will be one request button that will seamlessly create a request from all available copies within the system.

Trick or Treat Day Wrap-up

The library’s Trick or Treat E-Resources fair held on Tues., October 28th, included about 90 enthusiastic attendees and a number of prize winners, including the Grand Prize winner of the iPad — Nyaire Simpkins Jones, who is a junior and a psychology major. She and many other participants found the e-resources fair to be informative and helpful.

Most students were not aware of all of the online resources the library makes available to CCSU students at no cost. They were happy to learn about research tool / citation manager Refworks and databases such as PsycInfo. To see our entire list of “e-resources” (aka, “databases”), check out the library’s A to Z listing at https://libguides.ccsu.edu/az.php
