Interact each day with a new display about data and enter for a chance to win Valentine’s Day candy and a Starbuck’s gift card!
At the Burritt Library, we love data, and we have a number of resources to help students find, interpret, and visualize different kinds of data. All this week students can learn about those resources by visiting interactive displays located on the first floor of the library. Each day’s display includes a chance to win Valentine’s Day candy and a Starbuck’s gift card.
Students can also participate online. Just go to https://voyant-tools.org/ (an online tool for analyzing text as data) upload something you’ve written, like an old paper or story, and click “Reveal”. Voyant Tools will create a word cloud out of your text, which you can download and share with us over social media. Share your word cloud with the Burritt Library over Instagram, Facebook, or X (formerly Twitter), using the hashtag #LoveData24 for a chance to win Valentine’s Day candy and a Starbuck’s Gift Card!
