The
Elihu Burritt Library and the Department of History are partnering to preserve
and share the CCSU community’s experience of the COVID-19 pandemic. Members of
the community are invited to share pictures, documents, videos, or any other
artifacts that represent their experience of this past year.
For an example of the valuable historical work that can be done with this sort of archive, please visit “Pandemic in Perspective”, an exhibit created by students in Professor Leah Glaser’s course, History 302: Introduction to Public History.
Welcome back to CCSU’s Spring 2021 semester! To review the library’s hours and rules of operation in the coming semester, visit our Library Services Guide. With the first day of classes coming up on January 26, we want to remind you that you can get research help from our librarians online through live chat or more in-depth support by booking an appointment with them.
The OER Library Team is excited to share our first edition of the OER Faculty Newsletter – Open@CCSU. We hope you find it informative and helpful as we head into a new semester.
As a reminder, the library will no longer subscribe to RefWorks as of December 31st, 2020.
If you’d like to keep your data, there are resources available to migrate your data to a new Reference Manager. A comparison chart of open source managers is available here: https://libguides.ccsu.edu/citationmanagers
The library has created step by step tutorials to assist with setting up accounts and using these resources. Video tutorials for Zotero and Mendeley are available as well and can be found by using these links: Zotero Mendeley
