The Elihu Burritt Library and the Department of History are partnering to preserve and share the CCSU community’s experience of the COVID-19 pandemic. Members of the community are invited to share pictures, documents, videos, or any other artifacts that represent their experience of this past year.

For an example of the valuable historical work that can be done with this sort of archive, please visit “Pandemic in Perspective”, an exhibit created by students in Professor Leah Glaser’s course, History 302: Introduction to Public History.

Welcome back to CCSU’s Spring 2021 semester! To review the library’s hours and rules of operation in the coming semester, visit our Library Services Guide. With the first day of classes coming up on January 26, we want to remind you that you can get research help from our librarians online through live chat or more in-depth support by booking an appointment with them.

CCSU faculty members can book a librarian to provide instruction for their classes, familiarizing students with how to find, evaluate, and use library resources effectively. Consider providing course reserves through the library – learn more about the process in our guide for faculty.

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day the Library will be closed on Monday January 18the for in person and online services.

Regular services will resume on Tuesday, January 19, 8am – 4pm.

As a reminder, the library will no longer subscribe to RefWorks as of December 31st, 2020.
