Blue Chip Machine Instructions (Updated Aug. 2016)

TO FIND A BALANCE ON CARD:

1. Press “INQ” button.
2. Swipe Blue Chip Card through the reader (magnetic strip needs to face towards the terminal), or type the card number (16 digits) and press “ENTER.”
3. Press “ENTER.” The Blue Chip Balance is displayed in the middle of the screen.
4. Press the red “X” button to the clear the screen.

TO ACCEPT FINES USING CARD:

1. Press F1 to select “SALES.”
2. Press F4 to view the Sales Entry screen.
3. Enter the amount you want voided by penny (i.e. for $1.50, punch in 150) and then press “ENTER.”
4. Press F1 to select “BLUE CHIP.”
5. Swipe Blue Chip Card through the reader (magnetic strip needs to face towards terminal) or type the card number (16 digits) and press the “ENTER” key.
6. Press the red “X” button to the clear the screen.

TO VOID FINES USING CARD:

1. Press F1 to select “SALES.”
2. Press the “MENU” key.
3. Press F1 to select “VOID.” NOTE: While in void mode, the word “VOID” will be displayed in the lower-right corner of the screen.
4. Press F1 to select “SALE” (terminal will display sales entry screen).
5. Enter the amount you want voided by penny (i.e. for $1.50, punch in 150) and then press “ENTER.”
6. Press F1 to select “BLUE CHIP.”
7. Swipe Blue Chip Card through the reader (magnetic strip needs to face towards terminal) or type the card number (16 digits) and press the “ENTER” key.
8. Press the red “X” button to the clear the screen.
