How to Access CSU Library Services from Off-Campus

Databases and services purchased by the Connecticut State University (CSU) System for use by students, faculty, and staff are usually restricted within the CSU network. If they were not, then any Internet computer user would be able to use these services without payment to the companies.

To provide off-campus access to these services, the Consortial libraries have implemented a system that provides access to these services by going to this page:

CentralSEARCH Sign in Help

If CCSU students, staff, or faculty do not have credentials or have forgotten them, they should go to the Accounts Management link in their respective Central Pipelines and either create an account or reset their password. If they have any issues with this procedure, they should call the IT Help Desk at 860-832-1720.

For GUESTS to access their library accounts off campus, please contact the Circulation Desk at 860-832-3410 to be given a temporary password. Guests log in with their library card number and password.
